CASTRIES, St Lucia – First Citizens Investment Services (FCIS) has reaffirmed its commitment to Saint Lucia’s cultural development, returning for the fourth consecutive year as a Bronze Sponsor of Saint Lucia Carnival 2026. The partnership with the Carnival Planning and Management Committee (CPMC) underscores the organisation’s dedication to preserving national heritage while empowering communities through education and financial inclusion.

FCIS’ sponsorship supports several of the season’s premier events, including the National Carnival Queen Show, Calypso Monarch, Soca Monarch, Panorama, King and Queen of the Bands, and the Carnival Parade – all central to the island’s vibrant cultural expression.

A highlight of this year’s collaboration is the “Queens of Wealth: Crowned with Knowledge, Empowered for Success” financial education seminar, designed and hosted by First Citizens Investment Services for the 2026 National Carnival Queen contestants. The programme equips participants with practical financial skills to support long-term personal and professional growth.

Sean Reid, head of regional operations at First Citizens Investment Services, said the organisation’s approach to sponsorship is rooted in meaningful, community-centred impact.

“At First Citizens, true sponsorship extends beyond financial support. It is about creating opportunities that empower people and strengthen communities. For the fourth consecutive year, we are proud to partner with the Carnival Planning and Management Committee to support Saint Lucia Carnival while investing in initiatives that leave a lasting legacy. Through programmes like our financial education seminars, we help participants build the knowledge and confidence to make sound financial decisions that benefit them long after the Carnival season has ended.”

First Citizens Investment Services remains committed to advancing financial literacy, youth development and national pride. By pairing cultural sponsorship with accessible financial education, the organisation continues to fulfil its mission of helping individuals build brighter financial futures while contributing to the continued success of one of Saint Lucia’s most celebrated national events.
